Thanks to Just Cables & Accessories Ltd, it won’t just be the first runners across the line who will get a prize at the Weybridge 10k on 23 June 2019.
Just Cables & Accessories Ltd are a small independent computer cabling company based in Addlestone specialising in Copper and Fibre Networks, Power and AV; who are always keen to promote local running events and their local club, Chertsey Runners.
Part of the appeal of the Weybridge 10k event is that the run is suitable for runners of all abilities, so organisers are delighted to be able to give a Garmin Forerunner 235 watch to the runner who completes the race in the middle of the pack. The event is expected to sell out at 1500 entrants, so if you think you’re going to finish around 750th*, you could be in with a chance of winning.
Features of the Garmin Forerunner 235 include (but are not limited to): activity tracking (step count and distance, sleep monitor…), heart rate monitoring, VO2 max and recovery time estimations, and race time predictions across several distances. With up to 11-hours of battery life, this great gadget is sure to enhance anyone’s run.
*This prize will be given to the person who crosses the finish line exactly in the middle of the total number of runners who take part in the race on 23 June. The winner will be selected (and given their prize) on 23 June from the live timing / results system.
