lululemon Guildford are set to be the Official Prize Partner for Wey Ahead on 18 May.
Hollie and Rob popped into the Guildford store to get some new kit ahead of race day. With so many different shapes and styles of clothing available, how does one know what to choose? The “HR Department” (as they comically dub themselves) have done all the hard work for you; they share their kit recommendations below – all of which can be purchased from lululemon Guildford in the Tunsgate Centre.

Favourite piece: Metal Vent Tech Long Sleeve Top in Ocean Mist/Grey Sage.
Ever the functional man Rob chose the Pace Breaker Short 9″ – lined shorts with a classic fit and lots of storage space. Perfect for holding a phone, wire cutters and all his the other event paraphernalia. These running shorts are made with lightweight, four-way stretch, and sweat-wicking Swift fabric and feature a Mesh fabric vent on the back. They are lined with OOM (Out of Mind) liner construction that fits like a short, not a brief. The OOM liner is made with quick-drying Mesh fabric, a built-in pouch, and a phone pocket with cord exit. There is also an envelope pocket at the centre back that holds your device securely without a zipper.

Favourite piece: Wunder Under Tight Hi-Rise in Incognito Camo.
Hollie can’t resist a bit of bling, so it was love at first sight when she saw the metallic detailing on the lightweight, sweat-wicking Speed Up Tights in dark chrome. She paired these with the Swiftly Tech Short Sleeve in black (which is lined with Silver to inhibit the growth of odour-causing bacteria) and the Scuba Hoodie IV in Black. This hoodie is the perfect go-to pre- and post-training layer. Made with Blended Light Cotton Fleece fabric, it’s lightweight, warm, and super comfortable. Hollie usually prefers a baggy jumper but was pleasantly surprised to find that the Scuba Hoodie was just as comfortable (if not more) than her usual go-to jumper, but with a beautiful fitted feel and had a large hood.
