First things first.

Park in the Nursery Car Park, leave your kit in your car and come up to the top car park to Registration.

Pick up your timing chip and bike number. Pop your timing chip on your ankle straight away so you don’t lose it, and attach the bike number to your bike. Grab your kit from the car and head to the transition zone on the 3G pitch, just next to the Nursery Car Park.

Rack your bike on one of the racking bars. The racking isn’t numbered, so just choose a spot. Lay out your bike and run kit next to your bike. You’ll need to be wearing your swim kit and have your goggles and hat with you when you return back to the registration area and pool for the race brief.

Study the maps and information provided so that you’re clear on where to go after your swim. Transition Map.

Head to the pool in good time for your swim start. (You’ll be sent your start time before race day).

The Swim – Bike Transition (T1).

Out of the pool and run back to transition. You’ll run barefoot from the pool to transition on grass – this is part of the fun of triathlon!

Goggles and cap off, grab your bike helmet, change into any clothes you want for the bike section and push your bike out of transition. No cycling in transition – run with your bike to the transition mount/dismount zone (this will be clearly marked).

The Bike-Run Transition (T2).

As you come in from the bike route, think about where your kit is. You will need to dismount when the marshal tells you in the bike mount/dismount zone and run into transition with your bike.

Rack your bike, leave your helmet and swap shoes if needed. Then it’s out onto the run course!

After the run section, it’s time for your grand finish. Congratulations!
