General Information


Do you dare to brave the Surrey hills woodland at night? Glow sticks will point you in the direction of danger through a 5km loop of the Chantries woodlands and spooky glades. Watch out as you pass ghouls and ghosts and enter the Fitstuff Spook Station! 9 - 13yrs must be accompanied by an adult - ghosts don't count!
A 2km walk is available for groups, families and kids under 9yrs to explore the Chantries woodlands at dusk. Prams are not recommended. Torches, head torches and too many glow sticks are encouraged to accompany your costume!

Enter online, and you'll receive a confirmation email. Nothing will be sent in the post before the event.
On race day, collect your race number from 16:30 - 17:45 at Shalford Park.


Guildford Train station is 1.1 miles away.

Please share lifts where possible.

What to wear

Head torches are essential, trail shoes are best although there is some hard/rough ground making spikes not advisable. A 15% discount is offered for head torches at Fitstuff in Guildford. (Just show a print off of your entry receipt.)


The Night Run takes in the spooky terrain of the Chantry woods. Mind the ghosts and ghouls as you wind your way through forests, spook-filled glades under the cover of darkness .

The Halloween Walk takes in a loop within the Chantry woods with plenty of spooks and sweets along the way.

Please bring a charitable contribution on race night. The Night Fright event is supporting Harrison's Fund. The Harrison's Fund charity has one goal: to get as much money as possible into the hands of the best researchers, who are working to find a cure for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.
