Come and experience our flagship aat: event – the multi-award winning Mercer Surrey Half Marathon. Whether you are preparing to take on London Marathon, completing your first half marathon or targeting a new personal best, this is the perfect fast and flat half marathon event. Complete with kids 2km and 5km races, Mercer Surrey Half Marathon welcomes all types of runners for an award winning experience.

All race distances feature fast and flat routes – the perfect hunting ground for a new PB!

Woking Leisure Centre, Kingfield Road, Woking, GU22 9BA

The Event Village and all event facilities are located in the main leisure centre car park.

🚲 Travel Information

We recommend cycling, walking or running to the event if you live locally.

The event village is easily accessible from Woking town-centre car parks and Woking train station. Please follow all of the up to date government guidance on safe travel.

🅿️ Parking

There is no parking available in the event village unless you are a blue badge holder. The event village is a short walk from the city centre car parks, which you can find on Parkopedia.


🚗 Road Closures

This event takes place on fully closed roads. Closure times posted below have been confirmed with the local authorities. If you plan to drive, please check before you travel.

All roads close at 07:30 on 26th September 2021, and will re-open within a few hours. The roads affected are listed below.

If you are require essential use of affected roads for a care visit, Meals On Wheels delivery, hospital appointment or similar, please fill in this contact form before 1st September 2021 so we can come up with a suitable travel plan for you. Please only fill in the contact form if your journey is essential.

Number Pick Up and Enquiries

UPDATE: Bib Numbers are available for collection at the event only, participants should not expect to receive anything by mail.


Bag Drop

You may store your bags free of charge at our designated Bag Drop within the Event Village. Please attach the baggage label from your race number to your bag before you arrive at Bag Storage. We do not accept responsibility for loss or damage of property.

Xempo will be putting forward a team of experienced race pacers to keep you motivated throughout the run and perhaps even cross the finish line in a new personal best time.

Training Plan

To make sure that everyone has the best possible chance of completing the 5km or 13.1 mile challenge, there will be 5km or Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced and Elite Half Marathon training plans available for free. Look out for further details soon!
