aat-events are delighted to announce that for the second year running we have won two racecheck awards.

Racecheck is an independent race review website, which exclusively invites participants from the race to rate their experience. The site helps athletes of all abilities find great races to enter, whilst helping organisers get their events noticed. The awards take place at the start of the New Year to acknowledge the top rated events across the site from the previous year.

In 2017, The Mercer Surrey Half Marathon took the title of The UK’s Best Road Run Race, and The Hogs Back Road Race placed 2nd.Sister company BRUTAL run placed 5th in the off-road run category.

The 2018 Racecheck awards results were exceptionally close – with the winners of The UK’s Best Off-Road Run Race title just .03 of a point ahead of our finalist aat-events: Fitstuff G3 Series and Hardassnails.

Please continue to leave us those all-important 5* reviews throughout 2018! Our aim for 2018 is to achieve an overall score of 5/5 for our events, and with your help we will achieve it! To rate aat-events CLICK HERE.

Thanks to all those who review our events on Racecheck; and especially to those who reviewed the Fitstuff G3 Series and Hardassnails last year. With an overall rating of 4.8 / 5 * they are 2 of the top rated events across the entire site!

Here are two of our favourite reviews:

Fitstuff G3 Series: “A brilliant event, well organised but informal, friendly and chilled.  A tough, muddy, hilly route through the stunning Surrey Hills and North Downs, finishing with a delicious brownie and an enormous sense of well-being, all done by 9.30 on a Saturday morning.  Just the job.” – Pete Marsden

Hard as Snails: “A gorgeous scenic trail run through the loveliest countryside. Supportive, friendly marshalls and for me, best of all, it was a mid-week race so didn’t intrude on my weekend. Would highly recommend to all abilities. Yes it’s hilly, but what goes up must come down, I felt like a kid charging down the sandy slopes of St. Martha’s.” – David Corrie

Enter Hardassnails on 16 May 2018 – A Glorious 5km or 10km woodland run through the trees and paths of the North Downs with a 2km kids’ run for little ones keen to explore the woods!
