This is a Shooting Star CHASE event supporting local families with children and teenagers who are not expected to reach their 19th birthday. Both the 10km and 4km fun runs are open to all ages and abilities. Register and give it a go, or come down and cheer on friends and family from the sidelines.
A brilliant cross country running event for a worthwhile cause!
WhatThe Loseley 10k and 4k family run is cross-country and consists of a single loop across varied terrain (dirt tracks, sand, tarmac) with some hills. The 4k family run will include some fun obstacles and muddy puddles (rain permitting!)

Collect your race number and timing chip on the day. Nothing will be sent to you through the post.
Registration will open at 07:15 so be sure to arrive early. And wrap up warm because there's sure to be a chill in the air!
TravelTake the train to Guildford or Farncombe and then hop in a taxi.
What to wear
You'll need trail shoes suitable for roads, muddy fields and running on sandy tracks.

These routes consist of a complete range of terrain from off-road running tracks through the hills to sandy pathways through parkland and about 30% of tarmac. Be sure to bring suitable shoes.
Both run routes start and finish at the same spot and the 4km starts 3 minutes earlier than the 10km
New 4km route released. A much nicer route across fields, woodland trails and a few cheeky little off road climbs. There's no road running and it's suitable for all abilities.

First aidThere will be first aid available on standby during the event.
ToiletsPortable loos will be provided.
WaterWater will be provided at the 5km mark and at the finish line.
This event will be raising money for Shooting Star CHASE hospice care for children and teenagers so get started with your fundraising as soon as you register!
You'll receive an information and fundraising pack after registration.
Other informationThere is no minimum age limit for this event. Parents/Guardians obviously need to be comfortable any participants are going to be physically capable of entering.completing an event and are accompanied on the route. We have had children as young as 5 years old complete the 4k route, and 12 years old complete the 10k route.
